I like the fact you put yourself out there for everyone to see. It takes guts to open your life to possible criticism and where people can comment on your open wounds and flaws (we all have them right), and not only the poker ones.

Being from Munich I can see where giving up beer is even more of a dilemma. It is fantastic that you can spot your beer/poker problem and try to deal with it. If alcohol is changing your behavior in this way you must either be able to control the behavior or attempt to stop drinking completely.
I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor.

Note: While I used to drink all the time, I never/have never drank at the casino while playing poker or gambling (or drink while playing poker online). I would always wait until the poker/gambling stopped and other fun began.

GL Jay! Wishing the best for you.
As far as the drinking/poker thing goes... no doubt in my mind that staying 'alcohol-free' not only helps one in the moment but also for sure helps out with becoming a better player. (you knew I'd say this though ;) )

Well I spotted one problem. The worse your table position the more hands you open!

Assuming this is 6 max. I personally open like 13% UTG and 30% on the button. I c-bet a lot more 75%. Just open up more in position and tighten up out of position.

Also your turn c-bet is almost the same as your flop c-bet, so maybe you double barrel too frequently.
+1
Flechdad is not positionally aware.
My advice. Follow the starting hands chart. You are getting into spots where you do not supose to be in first place.
Than i observed that you do not respect the first thing that makes this stakes proffitable. You try to make your opponents fold but that does not work here. Try to check for pot control on the turn sometimes not on the river when the pot is already big. And another thing. Your stats look like you are scared of the button while the whole ideea is to make the button your weapon. You should open wider more than 30% of the hands. The button is a gold mine only by stealing the blinds. I think 3 or 4 BB/100 are supposed to be made from stealing the blinds.

well, just by posting these stats here you took a huge step towards improving because you can see there is a problem with these stats and we can also point out some problems.

you got some good advice regarding how you open from early position. if i ware you i would drop any suited connectors if you have any, any weak Aces, weak Kings, maybe even KT, KJ is necessarily.

you have a 20% open range from UTG, that works for some, but you are not adjusted to it yet, I say drop it somewhere to 12%, I went to pokerstove and this is what I came up with:

22-AA
ATo,AJo,AQo,AKo,KQo.
ATs,AJs,AQs,AKs,KQs,QJs. and that is it.

I would really like to see what other think of this UTG and UTG+1 range for 6 max.

One more trick I would suggest is that you 3 bet regs from oop with suited connectors from the Button and Cut-Off. They will fold a lot or they will give up on flop to a cbet.

Thanks for the comments all. Yep, got some issues here for sure. I was really shocked at some stats, and some of the comments ITT reflect the same "amazement".

I will be doing some more intense DB analysis, and definitely change a few things around right now.

I have just fired up a trial to HEM2, and am having a hard time getting used to the completely different look. So I wont use it all that much for a week or so while I look to get my leaks more apparent.

All these hands are with out drinking, so I guess I cant blame the beer as much as I would like....lol

And, yea, it is 6 max.

LOL, you are from Munich? I am from Houston, and now live here. I am in Schwabing, and, yea, it IS the BEER capital IMO. But poker is the priority ATM, so the awesome Augustiner will just have to wait:D

You thought about doing a 4 tabling video and posting it itt so we can see some live play and maybe pick up on some things that you haven't even noticed?

Good idea. I will try to get one up in the next week. I wouldnt want it to be public to everyone, or is that an option?

You can make it so we have to have a direct link to see it, which means you can post it in this thread and everyone can see it and give their opinion, but that no one can find it just doing a random search on Youtube or whatever. It's a privacy option you can adjust when you first upload the video to Youtube.

No I am from the US and now live in Tucson, but I have been to Munich on a couple occasions and have seen how the population enjoys their beer (and I took time to enjoy it myself)

A couple of FML hands and a couple of happy-me ones.

I am taking the comments ITT to heart. Trying to tighten up UTG and widen OTB, and get a happy medium in between. I am haing some spots where I am not sure how to proceed that keep coming up. Like AK, AQ and AJ, dealing with 3 bets and dealing with missed flops and getting my c bets called. I know it is too general, I am marking hands and will have a number in the HH coming up all week. Some will be probably meh for some of you, but hey, what can I say. Also PP, vs 3 bets, or when I 3 bet TT-QQ and get 4 bet or called, and donked into on low flops, or c/r on UC low flops. I know it is all opponent specific, so as I said, HH to come.

You would've thought from MPs stats he would know better than to shove TPWK in hand 3...trying (correctly) to iso the crazy BTN player I presume..I wouldn't have done it with you still in the hand.

the first couple hands were just bad beats, and you should still be happy you play against people like that, because 95% of the time, they will not hit their magical river. the last couple hands show that 10nl is still full of fish who will give you their money just like that. all in all - keep playing the way you do, and you will get there eventually :)

First hand. Reraise on the flop or even shove if know he will call. You have the nut flush draw plus a gutshot.
Second hand. Raise harder pre.
Third hand. Nice play pre correct call because you are deep. Postflop bet harder because there are some draws there. Do not let others see cards cheap when you have the best hand.
Forth hand. Classic setmine and value. Nothing to say.

I knew I was improving on my tilt when, after this hand, I said to myself "Well, my AA have been holding up so good lately. I guess it was time" and kept playing and whistling......

Another way of looking at it is, this hand is kinda irrelevant because you both play it the same way, so the outcome is unimportant - if we don't count the rake and tears!

Overall though, how's it going now? And when are we going to see the vid? If you're not up for that I'm good for another sweat if you want.

Good to see you can handle the tilt. Is it mainly because no alcohol, or do you have a plump bankroll with plenty of cushion?

I am defo up for another sweat, but I want to do a vid as well. I will look for you on skype and you can also message me if you are playing. Overall, I am treading water. I am obviously still missing a lot of basic thinking. But the comments in the different threads are helping.

LOL, no plump BR, sadly. I wish. The tilt is more of a mind set thing, I tilt just as bad with out alcohol. Its been an issue for too long. I am working on it. My biggest tilt problem is nor being able to work through it. I believe this is an important ability to have, not letting tilt affect your play. But sometimes it is better to just quit, since we have that option online. After the above hand, I still played calm and objective. That is not always the case. If I get 3-4-5 beats in a short time like that, then I do start to get affected, and i am working on being able to chuckle and keep on.

You can make it so we have to have a direct link to see it, which means you can post it in this thread and everyone can see it and give their opinion, but that no one can find it just doing a random search on Youtube or whatever. It's a privacy option you can adjust when you first upload the video to Youtube.

Will do a vid over the WE, and post by next week.

You are still afraid of the button man and the cutoff . You have to be more agressive from those 2 positions. Your c-bet % should be around 80% there. Most of the money should come from there.
