Hello, Belgo. Hopefully we'll see a post from you soon featuring something interesting or funny!

tbh, most of my posting lately has been on 2+2 and another forum, and even that hasn't been much. Kind of busy with work stuff lately and when i have free time i'd rather spend it playing than posting.

Also, going to Israël next week for work, so most likely no posting at all during that trip.

4bets don't need to be this big at all. If it's goes 3bb - 10bb we can make it like 25bb and accomplish everything that the bigger bet does as far as the amount of pressure we're putting on our opponents. We're saying "Hey buddy you wanna play for stacks?" (although we don't always have to mean it). :)

40BB isn't terrible when you only 4bet KK+ and you're playing with retards who don't care and call anyway. Honestly fx should probably just be shoving or folding to 3bets.

I do struggle whether to make 4bets a shove or not because postflop play with any hand but AA is a total guessing game. If you have an overpair in a 3bet pot how do you react to a flop shove? If you have KK or QQ how do you react to a raise on an Ace high flop?

If villain is a tight 3bettor with a range like JJ+, AK then according to pokerstove QQ has 47% equity against that range. So if they called your shove every time the dead money in the pot should make that +EV. The only thing I struggle to figure out is if they fold everything but AA & KK what effective stack sizes would need to be to make this +EV?

You don't. Because villain can't raise you. Because you don't bet an Ace high flop with KK or QQ.

what I meant to say is this;

You have 100bb stack amd open raise KK from EP for 3.5bb. Unknown villain, also 100bb 3bets you to 12bb. Now, your choices are; fold, flat call OOP, 4bet to say 30bb or 4bet shove. Now, if you 4bet 30bb and the flop comes down Axx and check and villain bets a pot sized bet what do you do then????

hey kleitches didnt you tell me you selfbanned on full tilt for like 10 years a couple of years ago ?
or was that on stars ? or did it expire ?

or was that someone else ?

i have all these questions !?! im confused.

That definitely wasn't me. I might have said that I wouldn't play on ftp for a while but since Stars blows now I moved sites. I've actually come to like ftp's software quite a bit. Plus the fact that the players are so much fishier there make it way better for the stakes I play.

Does ftp have a shorter time bank than stars? Played my usual 6 tables there last night and seemed to be timing out, which never happened on stars!

Yeah cause the same idiots who called a nearly triple pot shove on the turn would obviously fold TP to anything greater than a min bet on the flop.

In. Plan on putting more money on Stars that I withdrew from bodog so I can start out probably at 25NL on Stars. Just need to cash the Bodog check and then attempt to put money on Stars. Didn't have a problem a year ago, let's see how it works now. Going to be working myself into 6Max this month as well. The move to Stars is to try to get me the hell away from Rush. Great for volume and rakeback, but swingy as hell.

I just started playing 'Stars and it does seem that the time bank is longer. Sometimes I am surprised when a window pops back up that I assumed had folded. On Full Tilt it is pretty easy to time out when doing 12 tables. I had a set of Queens time out on me last night. Fortunately the pot was very small but still...

One other thing I never investigated was whether you could set up default betting amounts on FT like you can on PS. It seems that a lot of my time outs happen when I am trying to carefully size a bet and then 2 or 3 tables pop up before I can hit the bet button.

I know table ninja deals with alot of these issues but I haven't bought it yet.
I will probably break down and puchase relatively soon because I am suck an addict for 12tabling!!!

Yeah failed to look at their stack sizes. Still how sad are you when the turn brings an Ace and they both just fold?

In the mean time, just find an AHK script that will default bet sizes for you. I have some at home, but I am at work right now. They are (usually) free, so you can use them til you buy TN

Tn is essential for mting imo, tnft doesn't like pot limit tables though so I'm having to enter all my bets manually, which doesn't help with not timing out

F*ng Ace kills the action all the time.

btw: had a hand yesterday where I made a nut flush on the turn with AJs and the River was an Ace. Pot was decent but not huge, say 22bb. I was OOP and thought about the best line to take and decided to check. I figured if the Ace scared villain he was folding and if I checked it might induce a bluff or if he did have AK/AQ he might try a value bet thinking I had a pair. The only hand I could see checking behind was a weaker flush. Sorry i don't have the HH as I am at work but the board was failry low, no Broadways that I remember. Anyway I checked and he checked behind. Was this a hideous play???
