Any interest in doing debate type threads? Like on a specific topic one person picks a side and supports their opinion while someone else makes a counter argument. We let the two main parties have their back and forth for a bit and then take sides or give gold stars or something.

Debates would take place outside of this thread but we can use the thread to pick topics/debaters.

Some idea for topics could be things like:
small pairs in EP
small pairs in the blinds
suited Aces in those same positions
3betting AQ
TAG v LAG
6-max v FR
NLHE v PLO
etc.

So any interest? If it stupid just let me know, I'm not 100% sure it's not tbh so no hard feelings.

This would be really awesome, similair to the COTW threads on 2+2 but more debate oriented instead of a long OP with comments.

Also, in before anyone makes comments about fx and spoilers, ain't happening at least not in this thread. I've been thinking though, could we maybe have a lounge mega-thread where everyone can just let it hang out? That way if certain posters feel the need to discuss scatological subjects they can without tainting a cash game thread.

3betting AQ if your not HU is a losing effort.6max pwans full ring,i don't have enough money to play plo,raise small pairs in EP if you play 6max,raise small pairs if you play 6max,just call suited aces in those positions 6max.End of thread see ya next month.

I think 3betting AQ in most cases is -EV, borderline suicidal. Trust me I'm pre-law, oops, pre-med.

Here's a topic;

4betting with 100bb effective stacks; should you ship or just re-raise something like 36-40bb??? Defend your answer, and if you advocate the 36-40bb 4bet explain how you would play postflop,with or without scare cards (read an Ace when you have KK QQ) and how you would respond to a donk shove on the flop. Are you wanting to shove or make it 25-30 an give them the option of comeing back over the top for stacks.

Much easier money to be made playing regular tables.Far less swings also.

really? it seems like at 5/10 nl all the donks play rush to try it out, Ive only played like 2,000 hands or so but seems that way? obv way to small sample, just sayin though
