Nope not addicted to it anymore, and so much happier.

I am not addicted as much as I am passionate about the game of poker. It is a game of skill unlike slot machines, lottery tickets, and other games of luck. I guess the only way it could become an addiction if you were spending your house payment on a buy-in and not having bankroll management. When I think of addictions I think of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.

It is a very addictive game. For me there is 'Poker' and there is addiction to the highs and lows of gambling. You need to recognize when the later

I feel so addictive right now.. when I'm at work I think only for poker ( That's not quite good innit.. Probably because Im more of a hazardous player!

I'd advise self-exclusion or installing 'gamlock' get back control of your life. Then evaluate whether it is better for you personally to play or not.

If you are a compulsive gambler it is likely you are playing a lot of bad hands for the thrill of a chance to win and losing in overall.

well hooked think and ugly way to say, I like to play poker. but many think vezez say that I intend to make an excellent jogador.por this game every day. kkkkkkkk

someone here already played more than 12 hours per day for 2 months, I can say this and addicted, for whoever does that has no social life or love life.

I love playing the game. Not sure whether I am addicted or not, but can definitely spend hours of my day playing it with no problem. Just when I do begin to wonder if I have an addiction, some of my friends come to me with detailed information about developments in the poker world, or with some detailed poker terminology, and it makes me laugh and say "ok. guess it's not that bad yet". Plus, Merge getting rid of the freerolls and fun steps has definitely helped alot with coming down off of any addictions, as I don't like to spend alot of money online.

I don't think that you are right there. It is a matter of stakes probably. Reading some of the real grinders' blogs you will find out that they approach grinding as any other profession. It is their work. Not their life.

For all those saying that they're addicted to poker, do you see it as a problem and are you trying to change it's role in your life / thoughts? I get the impression that when you say you're addicted, you see it as a problem. If that's the case, I'd suggest trying to understand why you feel the way you feel and then takes the mental steps necessary to put poker it's in proper place.

Hahaha, you are crazy ... Poker is not addicting its just good fun, but when combined with a happy stomach and happier mind it makes it that much better that it feels addicting !!

Yes, I am very addicted of poker. I don't have a job so the lot of time I play poker, watch poker videos and discussing about poker and all that time a mean on poker. But it's good sometimes to make a break for a couple of days and see that poker is not the only think that we will should to do.

Exactly Tom ... me as well mate. "Balance is key" to a better life. Anything can be addictive. Moderation in all things, even if we all tend to 'tilt' at times.

If you are truly addicted I do not think there is such a thing as moderation. Same as I do not think you can say I was addicted but not anymore.

I am not addicted to poker (yet lol). I tried to get addicted but I get bored of stuff pretty quick. Maybe if I got a big win or something then I could get addicted (I have never won more than $80 in a game )

Im addicted in the making money side of poker. I just started playing some live games and mannnnn am i racking in the chips! I mean yeah I feel great because I am finally producing some sort of income. I am applying a lot of the techniques I learned just having fun when I was younger and now I mean I could quite university if it was really necessary (which I won't do dont worry). I am addicted to it the money side because I like making it. If i were to start losing I would loose my addiction so I would say that this is a healthy addiction!

I think no1 can be addicted. I love this game, iplay live more then online

I dont think that im addicted to poker, lave playing it and playing it few hours a day, but not like a some kind a need and not like i'll overlook my daily duties to play poker, i mostly reduce my sleep and rest time in favor of playing poker

Today I had to go out and get some buttons so my wife could fix some shorts of mine.
