Mario Aldinolfi was a red pro in a 600FTP Satty to the $200K Doubel deuce... running 100/100/100 this whole time. Seen him 3-bet total garbage and go to SD with a pair of twos and a weak flush draw, he kept hitting so I shoved this hand and I was amazed to see 45o there... I dunno. Anyone know anything about this guy?

Maybe he's just playing stupid for some fun. Or he got lucky in 1 tournament and is set for live.

Don't full tilt have slightly higher standards for their red pros?

Looks like he was the big stack and made a button move. Then with the pushes he had pot odds to call, since he had only another 1200 to call to get almost 3 to 1 with no more betting, since everyone was all in.

I think 3:1 isn't good enough pot odds against 2 other opponents. Which 1 is likely to have an overpair. In this case 2 players had an overpair.

He gets a stipend from Full Tilt and is required to play a certain amount of games.

Maybe he had things to do, and was just hoping to bust out early?

If you bust him, you get a t-shirt. :)

UFC Fighter Mike Swick is one of their pros, so I guess its some publicity-esque stunt.

It's cause he is a "Friend of Full Tilt" meaning that in his writing he jocks FT's nuts and bashes everyone else's. I could do that if they'll pay me...

True.. I actually played a game with him once on Full Tilt.. right after he got injured before one of his fights, and ended up not being able to compete.. he was pretty disappointed that night.

Randy Couture is also a red pro over at Full Tilt.. but he puts on a lot of charity events for soldiers at Full Tilt.. maybe that's why he's a red pro.

He is an Italian Player I believe... Italian players are known for bluffing... to them that's their thing about poker... so they will play a lot of hands, and try to bluff their way to victory... so it doesn't surprise me the way this guy played... almost like Dario Minieri.

He called an all-in with 54..... I wouldn't consider that a bluff.

i seriously  @ you Mortis... 100% Awesomeness

lol.. I meant if someone were to bluff, they would raise.. like he originally did. A donk would call an all-in like that with cards like 54.

In other words.. you can't bluff off an all-in player.

This is how it looked to me, it was hillarious, watch you go into my head and come back out and tell me that that wasn't funny.

Pretty sure they encourage their pros to sign up for satellites to big tournaments in order to bump their numbers up.

A few times I've seen pros register for a satellite then unregister at the last minute - even when that pro is already entered into the tournament that the satellite is offering seats for. Maybe this guy just didn't unregister in time? Though if it's an FTP buyin rather than a real money one it's likely he's just goofing around.

Sean ... that "pro's" actions are confusing, no question, and as Mortis said, calling an all-in isn't much of a "bluff", but didn't you make a mistake yourself? One of your opponents had pocket J's - let me check my chart here ... hold on .... yep! Jacks are much higher than sixes. You either failed to read MP's commitment to his hand (after all he did call), or you were just assuming no one could be better than a pair of lofty sixes ... sorry to be the devil's advocate. Did you apologize to the J's guy for sucking out?
