What, in any case can not drink the game. When I drink, I always lose. By degrees pour serious money into the game, which then leads to serious problems. You can not use any of expanders of consciousness, it is all a negative effect on people and the game. Yes I agree that without whiskey boring, but it's never a positive effect on the end result. So choose, or play, or a drink and play. And I have due to alcohol in life was a lot of mistakes, and not just in poker. If you do not measure and you can not stop in time, this is not for you.

Every time I drink alcohol when I'm playing online poker I play way too many hands. Not only do I play too many hands I tend to start bluffing at points I have no business being in. I do find that smoking a joint makes me more patient at the tables.

I am not a big drinker to start with, but depends who I am playing with if I have a drink or two. I never drink when playing at the casino, by never I mean less then 1% of the time.

We have to think and analyze the situation. Alcohol interferes with this.

I drink alcohol when I play poker. I often get anxiety in my regular dealings with people, so drinking alcohol will generally put me more at ease around so many strangers at a live game.

I'm no longer a young man, and have spent a great deal of money learning that excessive drinking is a bad idea. For me, I would make terrible decisions when I over indulged in beer or drinks. Now, in alcohol's defense, I'm more than capable of making bad decisions sober, as well. They usually aren't as expensive.

I think finding the balance between increased concentration and over the line is hard to find, and not worth the risk.

Occasionally, when I play live, I will have a few drinks to help me relax. I'm always a bit nervous when I first sit at the table. After a little while, I calm down. If I can't, I will order a drink.

Not live not online, but I've seen people lose control or just gamble while playing, but I it was a home game with friends probably on or two.
