I have been working extra the last several months, so I have played almost no poker. But I just started back playing last week and see the new Galaxy Promotion at 888 starting today.
So what do you think of the new promotion?

they cut back the blast freerolls from 600 tickets to 200. so no real reason anymore to spin that daily joke wheel where u win either a ticket to this blast freeroll or nothing all the time. another nice move by 888.

I'd like to play these new tourneys, but you can't do the challenges to get the tickets until 888 sends you an email and for some reason they didn't send an email to everyone eligible at the same time, they say it may take several days.

I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones this time, 2 days in and no email yet so I'm shut out for now.

I wonder if our recent connectivity issues have anything to do with not getting the emails. Seems like two unconnected issues but many other people had no issue with either. Im not sure how aggressively i will pursue the tickets. I do enjoy the sports bet tourney though. Thank you Belarus NHL.

I like the sportsbet tourney as well, but there sure isn't much to bet on these days to get the tickets. My last 5 bets were all table tennis and chess. Seriously, chess as a sports bet!

I am too having good day in Bet tourneys. In one game I won $19 and in one game $13.
I really like to see this tourney running at least for next couple of months but it is going to end in few days....
To get a ticket, once I place a bet I get the ticket instantly and then I Cash in my bets at once.

freerolls?

I got 2 tickets yesterday by default from 888 side and did use one in $2K freeroll and got 40 cents. I will use another one today.
The strange thing is I did place $5 on Casino games to get the 2 tickets and to move closer for the weekly game but I have not got the tickets yet for that wager.
The promotion states that the tickets will be credited in max 72 hours. I would talk to support about this today .
It is a good promotion. Especially in this lockdown...

What is the minimum amount to have to bet to get this ticket?

You need to bet 5$ or more with odds minimum @1.50

To get a $2k Sports bet tourneys ticket a minimum $1 bet is required without any specific odds.

To get a $2k tourney ticket for Galaxy promotion and to qualify for a weekly promotion you need to bet $5 with a minimum odd of 1.5.

Thanks, I was hoping it was a minimum amount that can be placed like .10 (as with the casino mix-up tourney). I used a $3 sports bet I got on the wheel yesterday on a Live table tennis match and won $3.12. :icon_chee

I did not get a ticket, so I'm guessing the free bets do not count....

I completely agree with you although I'll still continue to use the free promotions. First they diluted the field of players massively from when it was the $5 Blast freeroll to the $5 Superstorm freeroll. Now they cut back the ITM from 600 to 200. Those promotions were my favourite part of 888, getting a 5$ ticket rocked

Live chat informed me that it takes up too 72 hours for the issue of the tickets. Another good promotion from 888 Poker.

Yah, It is true that 72 hours is the time frame for the tickets.
I did bet $5 on Casino on 25th March but still no tickets yet. I will wait till tomorrow.
I am expecting $5 free sports bet too by tomorrow as I placed more than $50 on sports last week.

Prizes were cut from freerolls, two weeks ago there were 600 seats for a $ 5 ticket, now 200. The conclusion is obvious about this promotion. All new promotions at all poker rooms are worse than the foregoing, this is the only constant in online poker. Therefore, you need to learn to play poker and not pay attention to promotions.

Use the live chat option and ask 888 to resend the promotional email again as you are unable to find it in your box or would be deleted by you accidentally.
888 will send the email and you will be on track.
