The most expensive tournament in which you played?

I played in a $ 109 tournament and I really liked it, but the result could be better.

The biggest buy-in I ever played was $44 on FullTilt back in the pre Black Friday days. I don't think I'll ever play that high again, will stick to freerolls and micro unless I grind up a bankroll from micros.

My biggest one was definitely a $550 satellite to win $5300 package for North America Millions live event hosted by partypoker, which i played last summer. Have to say i got there, starting from 1cent satellite and grinding my way up through 4 other satellites. Unfortunately luck left me not so far away from hitting a big chance for travel to canada and play for a million dollars, as i lost a coin flip few places before bubble. Bollocks! But it was a lot of fun and brought me to thoughts i should give a try to cheap satellites even more. Maybe next time i'll be playing big. :)

I think it was a 215$ buyin with a token I had won, just that one time and did not finish ITM.

Other than that one time, I think only a few 109$ buyins. And all of those 109$ entry tournaments have been with tokens. That's way out of my usual buyin for tournaments or SnG's.

I played in a $ 109 tournament and I really liked it, but the result could be better.

At the Hard Rock in Hollywood FL, 10 years ago I played in $550 tournament. Was knocked out in my second hand when pre-flop I called an all-in with KK.

Went on a 20 hour run or so and walked out of there with over $4k profit from a cash game by the next morning.

Please consider having this thread moved to poker, the Lounge should be about everything else but poker and if poker only peripheral talk. :)

$1675.00 in a wsop circuit event. Didn't cash. Ran KK into KK twice in that tourney, chopped both hands. I'll always remember that.

I played a "special" edition of the Bovada $100K GTD (I think it was like 112K GTD that week) that I freerolled into through satellites in 2015. Buy in was $162 otherwise. I got KK all in pre and villian had AA which held and I was out about an hour into it.

My biggest buy-in is $ 22.
It was a tournament on PartyPoker. I was given this ticket as a bonus, and for my money the biggest buyin is 5.5 $
Unfortunately, all these tournaments for me ended unsuccessfully ((

550$ on party poker. I won it through satellite way before the tournament was starting, and the day it began I was not in the mood and therefore not prepared for it. Was out pretty quick after a hand against a very tilting player duh lol Silly
