I also prefer the longer tourneys. I find the 6 minute or less blinds rely too much on luck. Longer time between blinds seems to allow more skilled players to advance
I prefer Turbo tournaments, which don't last more than 2 hours... they have more adrenaline and depending on the buy-in there may not be as many participants
It depends on the day of the week for me. During work weeks I lean towards turbos, but they are becoming rarer to find. During the weekend I like the longer blind levels as I feel I am better playing in them.
I also prefer slow tournaments, the ones where the blinds increase every 10 minutes, as you described. This structure of tournaments is optimal for me.
I love games that go very fast because you don't have to wait 2 hours for one hand to play with it, speed is a quick game and weak people who don't know how to play poker are not the place because they play more hands and make a lot of mistakes and crash quickly so if you're a weak player, don't play a quick game
