Bubble

3 possible situations:
1. You are the chip leader (or a big stack). Try to apply more pressure on medium and short stacks by opening more hands and bluffing with higher frequency.
2. You are a medium stack. Avoid big stacks, by opening a little less less than you would (If you would normally open KJo from hijack, fold it on the bubble as big stack behind you and could easily 3bet you light) and, yes, sometimes you will have to lay down some really strong hands like AQ after a 3bet from big stack. But still try to apply pressure on short stacks.
3. You are a short stack. You will have to find a way to chip up, so fight and be clever.

Folding is fine if you just wanna reach a min cash out .#1 goal is to defend your chip stack, but if you are wanting to win or make it worth your while then you got to play those good pocket cards, or I do anyhow.You can look at the CC free roll game results and see my name busting the bubble for sure.I do not want to set there 3 hr and play for a $1.25 cash out.

Hello in the bubble before the prizes you must have a closed range of hands, because, because you are the one who risks all your chips if there are more players, only be patient and take advantage of attacking the blinds of the players that have less chips going up 2 big blinds , After a little time you will see how you enter the award-winning positions.

u said 55 player left , what is ur rank 45th? well i think u should play tight even if u r aiming for final table because simply when u get bubbled u feel like u wasted like 2-4 hours of ur life
i like to see compensation

Observe 1 or 2 hands, if they play really tight, i mean, if almost all players have folded, you can play aggressively on them, betting and 3 betting (cause some players will also think that it's time to steal pots), but if you get reraised, or 4bet, just forget cause you'll probably get caught dominated. But if there are several players playing the hands and trying to win the pots, just fold most hands cause it's not worth the risk. Besides that, all you have to know to have a basis on what to do is to observe your opponents and categorize them.

Behavior on the bubble depends on the goal: get into the prizes or try to win the tournament. Of course, it's too risky to risk a bubble, but sitting with a good card is debatable. The answer is, depending on the situation ...

When playing on the bubble - need to assess the situation at the table and the size of your stack.

1. If the stack is large - it is necessary to often show aggression, steal the blinds.
2. With an average stack - play quiet and tight game.
3. If the stack is short - play carefully. In most cases, have to play push / fold.

The correct is to press the ones that are shorter if possible and not to take chances of them to see flop depends also on the amount of blind that you have all in always will be good with a good range already saw professionals to fall in tournament millionarios in the table semi final by You can not think like this, you have to go forward always

Playin tight strategy is the most common one so in theory youre chances in this kind of game woldnt give you the best benefits. Ofc playin tight will give you few bucks maybe, but is it enough? Thats the question where all of us should have an answer for it. Ofc you need to know what youre capable of. If youre playin a 700 - 1050$ buy in turney and you never played before into such big game maybe you should choose to play tight but honestly preferable wold it if you didnt try it at all. So beeing sincere with yourself and analizing youre set skills in poker its the best strategy you could choose. Knowing this you will always win good money ofc this fits to those who played more than few CS games and are used with prrssure of poker well and feel confortable to play at the buy in you choosed.

Play your cards the way you would in the middle of the tourney. if your stack is large enough to outlast those 5 players then 50--50.

It just depends on several factors like chip stack and number of players

Time wasters

If you notice a few people as time wasting with their low stacks and you have a decent sized stack you can likely take their blinds in the right situation. Unfortunately I always have someone less at the table thinking the same way so it makes it more difficult.

If I stack more times than the opponents then I steal the blinds with anything (depends on the position ) ) and top pairs play as usual

So poker is a game that gives results only when choosing the right tactics, you should remember the basic tips regarding the bubble stage:
- to call extremely accurately;
- it is best to go all-in if you have not already placed a bet in the bank;
- tight game against large stacks and aggressive against smaller ones;
- extremely accurate game with a short stack.

As always... it depends.
A few people saying it should vary depending on your chip stack which is good advice, short stacks should be a little tight looking to double up but also stealing some blinds in late position. Medium stacks should be pretty tight and looking for good spots. Big stacks should be applying maximum pressure.

Your opponents stack sizes are also just as important though. Attack medium stacks that are trying to just cash, avoid aggressive big stacks but attack big stacks that are folding their way to the money, be wary of raising short stacks and giving them a good all-in move, if raising a short stack, just push all-in and realise your fold equity.

My last point is the payouts. If they're heavily weighted to the top (as almost always) then you should not be concerned about going out on the bubble. The min cash is not worth your time. The bubble period can be one of the most profitable periods of poker as most players tighten up.
