Hi

As for the hyper turbo tournament, I think it's best to play it right from the start, As for the rebuy and add-on satellite, I have no problem

I would not register Hyper-Turbo had been running for over 30 minutes. I would try to register any PKO MTT by the start of the MTT since bounties usually account for 50% of the prize pool.

If I don't have at least 45 BBs, I won't sign in late.

I also prefer to register in advance. I don't like late registration, although several times there were cases when I registered late but still I won the tournament.

For me, it's all about how many BB's I'm going to be starting with, or will have soon after registering. I'm not going to register for anything less the 50BB. In a Hyper, I wouldn't register for less than 100BB, because it just doesn't give you a chance to poker, because you're basically at shove fold stage within a few orbits.

In my opinion, it's always better to start at the beginning of tournaments. Getting in at those lower blind levels gives you a lot more hands/ chances to get some good hands to play. Specially in a Hyper turbo.

I know many players who have won hyper-turbo tournaments both in the middle of late registration and at the end of late registration.

Late registration in turbo tournaments increases variance and is beneficial for the poker room.
Especially with re-entries.
With such a game, everything depends on hitting the board. Some will be very lucky and some will not.

in a hyperturbo it is not a good idea to enter late registration, you could do it in standard tournaments. I have done it and it has not gone bad for me

I start tournaments late most of the times , but yes , if it's a hyper turbo sat or tourney , I want to play it from the very start , as very soon I am very low stacked... .

I have only started a tournament late once and I was so low I lost chips more to blinds then actually playing. So better to start before or at least very early into the late reg.

Yes, it is useless to start so late in a turbo tournament, the blinds are very high and the ante also, they will eliminate your tiny stack in no time!

I also love playing from the beginning of the tournament. Although sometimes I register during late registration, but in general I prefer early registration.

I usually dont start tournaments with 2 hour plus late reg until about 20-30 BB starting stacks. My brain gets tired on those 3 and 4 hour late regs. I pick and choose my entries carefully because Im always on a limited bankroll. Im a no deposit player but CC has helped me get a starting bankroll at several sites. My bankroll stays relatively small because I save up for a $109 touney then play ...and lose LOL. Then start saving again.

I like to enter tournaments at the registration closing stage, when there are about 15 big blinds in the stack
