tbf, assuming you're a winning high stakes mtt reg, doesn't that put your average income in the 6 figures? There aren't many jobs where you'll earn more than that.

Variance is a biatch. Even with fantastic volume you'd experience enormous swings. And not everyone who is a winning reg wants to work it as a 9 to 5 (or honestly probably more sometimes, for MTTs) job.

Can this be a sng thread too? Since I came back from aus I had 30 quid in my stars account due to a 7 dollor profit from the one mtt I played and grinding 1.5 dollor six max turbos I am over 80 dollors in just over a week. if I can play 15 games tomorrow after visiting family I am in danger of hitting a high BOTP bonus too. at 1300 oddish so far. I want to be at the 3s by sept and 15s by new years day. May not happen but you have to have goals my friend.

Dont know if I should add the uk league games in as I do well in them and have a 44 euro ticket for an ept from my best placing which if I had played one of the last three days probally would have been 1st (I was stupid and didnt adjust for daylight savings, even if stars moved the games next day an hour).

Alright cool, I have the means to deposit but want to grind a roll up again, what do think is a good move up for the 6 max turbos. I was thinking 100bis for the level im on and 10 for the next level. Too nitty at the lower levels?

Nah I think that's about right, variane can be pretty mean in the 6-max turbos.

My thinking too, I may just bang in 10 days uk game money but I tend to get tunnel vision so hoping the change in format will be ok. For my thinking playing these uk games is worth it to anyone. Its pretty soft and I have always done well.

In the words of the great prophet Jboy- standard. Tilt is the biggest enemy of a sng/mtter. Feels horrid but you either grind through it or take a break. My tilt breaker is shooting people in games for half an hour then jumping back in. Id move down for a few games but I am already at the lowest. Sometimes the 10 6 off kills yer QQ.

Would have been in 1st with 13 left if I could have avoided the 5 and diamonds on the river, oh well. Can't complain though because I won two different hands that I shouldn't have that would have put me out. I put in $9.30, won $50+

Also I found a poker club out here where I am at, they run 0.50/1 cash games nightly and some big tournaments here and there.

words cannot express how much I hate PT4. Keeps crashing, and I'm pretty sure it hasn't recorded about 10 of my sng's so my graph is ****ed up.

I guess I am finished with my FirstDeposit freerolls on Merge. I was not sure how many of them you get to play. I went to register for the freeroll today but it would not let me.
I ended up playing 11 of them altogether and won money in them 7 times with my best finish a 2nd place for $81 My total money won after the freerolls is $120.60 and I am really happy about that.

Today I thought I was going to play in the Poker Maximus MainEvent LowStakes with my $60 satellite ticket and also in the one that cost $11. A bit before they started I got nervous and decided to not play in them. I got to thinking that it would be best for me to wait until I get more confident and I didn't want to waste my tickets.

Can someone please tell me how long until tickets are expired? Or do they even ever expire?
