I do the same. I learned the hard way not to limp AA. A guy can get a two pair and get you out.

Yeah, but it's not just that. Imagine you have KK or QQ in this spot. Would you ever call a 3-bet with these hands as well instead of shoving? I don't think so, no one wants to get in a pot with strong pocket pair and see an ace in the flop.

This is why you need to have AA in your 4-bet shoving range as well, absolutely no need to slow play this hand in this spot. There are much more better spots when you can slowplay AA, but definitely a bad idea in a 3-bet pot with multiple opponents

The ideal AA game

It is difficult to face AA with A in the pot if your hand is low, but with KK or QQ it is possible

Regardless of the tournament or position that you are a pair of AA, your chance at opening cards is 80 to 20, ok?

I think the best strategy is to wait until someone else raises and then either just give up or fold.

I don't understand why you would wanna deny equity with AA. Like what is gonna happen if you jam all in, basically the guy with 70BB is gonna fold, then you are playing heads up against the 20BB stack.

Raise 20BB good, because it looks like you are trying to bully the deep stack out of the pot, and you have potentially a weakish hand.

Also that way the guy calls, and if he flops a pair, he has to go with his hand, while being a huge under dog.

It's like, if you jam AA in against a flopped pair, vs let's say, a pair of jacks, your equity is about the same. You are huge favourite.

Of course somewhere around sub 10% of the time, your AA will be out flopped, but that's just the nature of the game.

Anyways, point is, I think your assessment is a bit ridiculous lol. OP got unlucky, not much you can do. Guy could easily of had a open ender or slow playing KK QQ, JJ, even 10's. Could be as loose as guy shots too. You never know, people stupid things all the time.

You gotta give them a bit of rope in my opinion. Also, you gotta give action, to get action.

You should understand, each player should have their own strategy of the game and how they see the development of the situation at the table) and I do not deny anything) I perfectly understand what you are talking about, but this is mathematics or some rules of the game of poker ;) If they always worked or brought success at the table every time, but this is not so unfortunately... Therefore, I can't say that your words are correct, but I won't laugh) These are your thoughts and they may well be true)

I will say more, in 95% you will not get on the flop at all, so looking for and getting chips on the board further is not always the best idea ;) You probably heard about crazy cards on the river?)) don't you?))

The author of the topic asked for an opinion and we express it, so there are no problem at all ;)

It always depends on the situation. Sometimes if the tourney is in the bubble and there are multiple all-ins, I even fold AA pre-flop. It's better to get in the money than be knocked out with someone's three of a kind or the like.
