So today I was able to clear off my 16bi downswing... Then proceeded to lose another 12bi's.

Those are bad downswings? For me at least, those are very small downswings, probably hit something that size every 2-3 day. Play 45s though

Well they're not exactly good downswings, lol. But yeah I suppose they're fairly standard.

It's just the differences in the variance of the games. I reckon a 40-50BI downswing is standard in the 45s. The person who hit the most profit on some micro SnG board who grinds 45s reported hitting a 150BI downswing, go figure

I had to play a few sets of sng's to get my fpp's to play in the turbo takedown. Of course I did very well - they always try to suck me back in when I play a little.

Damn those sng's....

I will probably play some again today and get crushed back into reality lol.

I made SilverStar this month playing a fairly large number of 18-mans. Kind of nifty If I try to retain silverstar for the year I'll be getting somewhere around 1k FPPs a month so it should be enough to satty my way into the Turbo Takedown almost every month! Time to chase those ITM bonuses :cheers:

Had a really good month - my best ever in fact. Against these goals:

Played 61 SNG's - achieved goal
Profit - 48.2% ROI!! - Goal well and truly achieved
Post more HH - erm....oops
Put learning on shoving ranges into effect - achieved. Used shoving to a greater extent and whilst it undid me sometimes in general I was quite happy with my play.

Here's hoping February will be just as good.

Play fifty/fity sngs on stars and double 10 dollars
once that happens go keep going till it hits 54 then move up to the 5.40
and repeat until have a decent size bankroll

Now that I am settled in at my new place, I am ready to hit the tables again full force. My approach will be different this month, as I will multi-table turbo SNGs for a few hours a couple of nights a week. My goals this month:

1. 100 SNGs
2. At least break even for the month, as I am focusing on handling volume.

How I fared:
1. Success: 115 SNGs played this month, probably 50/50 Turbo/Non.
2. Fail: Currently down about 8 buy-ins for the month.

As my volume has increased, variance hit me pretty hard. However, I have seen some areas where my game can improve. Mainly, I am still having trouble in the early stages (7-9) handed. Something to work on next month.
