If it were me, I would have edited out the general USA bashing before I posted this hand history to a forum whose membership majority is American. Is this how you really feel about us, Rob? Please elaborate.

The problem with Stud players (and Razz players) is that they assume you'll make a certain decision based on being able to see their cards. At the wsop, I had rolled Jacks and some guy had 4 hearts showing but I kept betting and he missed on the end. Also, I was chasing a flush on Ramdin and wound up rivering a pair of Jacks to his 10s that he was betting the whole way.

I can see why this guy could be upset, but he also had to have known that his pair of 4s were likely beat at the end (although he was so committed at that point, he couldn't fold). He certainly isn't right to name call on you. And you aren't right to bash Americans. This response could easily come from anyone, anywhere.

I just leave my chat off these days.

No - as a frequent American traveler to the UK - this has nothing to do with Hollywood. As much as I love the people in England - I have to say as a whole a lot of them have low opinions of Americans. It is a political thing - George Bush, Iraq, etc. They think we are stupid if we support him and stupid if we didn't support him but allowed him to be elected.

There are other things as well - some I try to defend and others I totally agree with them lol.

But once they get exposed to my southern charm they forget all of their previous perceptions lol.
