How is ur experience playing freerolls?

I actually liked freerolls back in the day, but there is a lot of poor players making horrible plays and it pays off a lot. They'll go all-in with essentially nothing and fluke out. I guess that's how the game goes sometimes though.

I tend to win on freerolls where the blind level is not very short, otherwise i need to get lucky to win

sometimes too frustrating when they end up beating my best hands with garbage hands, but I think I'm already adapting and understanding that since they are free it is normal for that to happen.

I only play freerolls and can't complain as I don't invest real money in poker. I have never made any rebuys or add-ons. In terms of my experience, I've had successful freerolls that got me into the main event of big tournaments like Sunday Million, Sunday Storm, Fenomeno and WCOOP. In some of them I won cash prizes (2 times in Sunday Million and once in Fenomeno).

I have tried 3 freerolls and I have managed to get 2 out of 3 prizes from those free rolls. Mind you they are tickets from WPT for satellites.

My experience in freerolls has been very good, mainly because the ones I play the most are the Platinum ones here at CardsChat where the level of play is different.
There are freerolls out there with 3k, 4k and even 5k fields. It's crazy. A shootout with 90% of bullets lost.
It's a good place to prepare for real Poker, but at some point we have to leave the nest and start flying with our own wings...

let say that it was an experience ...just it...because the plays from freerolls and the plays where you buy in , let say 10-20 $, is not the same and the people play very different

I have pretty good experience playing poker freerolls. I can usually make a small profit in about a month of freerolls this way I can start playing micro cash tournaments and so on. My only problem is that I end up losing my profits in the casino. I just banned myself from the casino. Let's see how that goes.

I like freerolls , CC freerolls are by far my favorite , small fields, good players and nice prizes.
Generally don't expect a super quality game in a typical freeroll but I fire some alongside whenever I play poker!

My experience in freerolls has been very positive. A bit frustrating at first, but I can't complain. You have to get used to people playing more wildly than usual since they don't have anything to lose. But once you overcome that and adapt, these tournaments suddenly become a great way to enjoy poker, where you can win a prize if you perform well, without worrying about your wallet. Currently, I only play freerolls, and as I improve, I enjoy them more each day.

Freerolls are nice to start building the bankroll. And you could learn first experience in the different stages of a tourney. The player pool is mixed. Sometimes very good players are also attend to a freeroll, but the most are people with less experience or less skill. It is important to knew how the players play these kind of tourney sometimes the are playing roulette and you must decide would your risk your tourney life in such a hand and getting stack or loose all the chips. And you must knew if you enter higher limit you must change your game to survive. Sometimes there are nice freerolls in which you could earn tickets for big tournaments and if you finish in itm you could boost your bankroll alot.

I only play freerolls (when I play paid tournaments it is because I win entry into a freeroll) so I have a lot of experience, I have won: some tournaments, some tickets, I have faced all types of players, it has also helped me improve my game although some think that it is not like that
