Poker patience, especially in tournaments, has much more to do with the opportunities we have to be able to play, not necessarily with good cards, but taking advantage of spots to play in the final positions of the table and playing in position. In tournaments if we just wait for cards, they may not come and we will not play and consequently we will be swallowed up by the blinds.
