I've placed first in two online tournaments, and in a few of the CardsChat Individual League games. I've been close many times but more often have been a bridesmaid rather than the bride.

I have to admit that playing some big Tournaments On-line I had never Won one outright, That was until I joined Cardschat, since I became a member I think I have won 2 and shared the Prize money in One.
I really don't mind being in a second or third place, as I don't consider finishing on the Final Table and getting beat is a great loss, as all I am playing for is to make the money bubble, and if I can do that I am happy, Finishing on the Final Table is a bonus, but Winning it outright is fantastic.
I am only in the game for Fun when I play On-line, never taking it seriously because Win or Lose it costs me nothing, Live games however are a different Story, and I have paid to join the game, I used to play regularly in my Local pub and on average we had 3 tables going every week. Even in those games my goal was to finish on the FT which I did most weeks, because that was where the Points came into play, and the higher you finished the more points you gained.
I won the League many times where there was Prize Money to be made, but more importantly there were 4 seats up for grabs in a Regional final game in a Casino where you were playing against 150+ other players from all over the Area. and a chance for a trip to Vegas to play in a big Tournament over there. and 9 runners up got prize money. and Qualified for a National Tournament where the top ten got seats to Vegas.
I never won a Vegas trip, but did make the money a couple of times in these Tournaments So not a complete waste of my time, But the important thing was it gave me the confidence to play in Bigger buy-ins in casinos.
I still reckon Poker owes me nothing, as I have accrued a personal bankroll in real money from Live games as well as On-line Poker. So I am happy finishing in a place on the FT. in any game.

I took first place several times. But I get to the final table quite often and for me it's a pretty good result. Of course, we all strive to be the first, but in my opinion, playing correctly, thoughtfully and consistently is no less important.

If you count all tournaments, big and small, there are more than 10 or fewer than 100 tournaments. If you count only card chat freerolls, I've won freerolls 4 to 5 times, mostly daily and once weekly.

2023 is an average year for me! So far I have won 16! The goal is 20 wins a year!

I took first place more than once, but mostly all of those tournaments were freerolls. Although the first place is always a great result. My biggest win is about $180.

I've won a few hundred online tournaments over the years.
sharkscope has me at 128 wins on pokerstars alone as TheKaahk. I've also played under several other SN's on other sites over the years that weren't tracked.
The majority of these wins were at low or micro stakes so none were over $3k and most were in the few hundred $ range.
One day, perhaps, I'll get back to full form and push into higher stakes to book a win there.
