How many times a month in tournaments you get to the final table?

Variance is really high in tournaments,you can play where good for 3 months and that doesnt mean you are going to reach FT,i reach FT very rarely because field is usually very big

depends on the number of tournaments that I play, if I sit tightly playing a month or so 10 exactly the minimum!

From what I've read and videos I've watched, even the best players typically only make the final table 5% of the time over a significant enough sample size. This of course also depends on the field sizes of the mtt's. I know it feels great to make the final table, but what you should really be shooting for are the top 3 places.

they are tough to make,i won one freeroll last month on acr through cc.made another final table as well,dont get to play in all of em,because i play live cash games 3 times a week local.only played 3 weeks last month because i had not reached all the requirements on cc yet,so after i play a whole month ill update you on it!i do love this forum though,if you want to study the game,if you want to improve,here is THE place to do it,i would suggest you take advantage,read,read,read,play,play,play....good luck on the felts baby!

It depends on how many players are in the tournament,the less the more your chances of reaching final table.

I don't know what to say... this thread has been entertaining. There's either a large number of folks from Cuckoo's Nest homegames here or they're thinking the rest of us are. I mean come on seriously... 3 final tables for every 10 tournaments played should be your average LOL. OR, there just happens to be a large number of unknown phenoms who've just happened to all land on this thread. It's amazing!
The BEST players in the world finish 'in the money' ~12 to 14% of the time. That's just 'IN THE MONEY' meaning they've placed in top10% of the field (or 15% depending upon payout structure).
Nobody hits a final table even 1/10th of the time. (I'm not referring to STT SNG's)

But play money(chip) into final table every day. People not seriously for free ship lol .

I play less often in tournaments. Still less am final table. Last month, I have a part in the final table. This month I wish at least one part of the finale! Good luck to everyone else!

I play for fun and I do not keep statistics, so it's hard to answer your question. To the same there is a difference, get on the final table of 1000 players or from 100 players.

Online:
1-3 per day, depending on entrants count, never rebuy or chipup unless it's a large pool; If I bust early with reasonable blinds and/or I'm short.
ITM: ~35-40%,
Final: ~10-25% Fluxes

Live:
Local Basement MTT. 1 Per week. Usually about 50ish entrants at $20.
ITM/Final: 20-30%.

Casino/Event MMT:
idk, once a year if I have the spare change after bills.
IMT/Final: ~5-10% I guess. Maybe. Never recorded it. Probably on the lower end of that.

Last month I finished three times at the final table, but I was not able to win the tournament. The third place is the best result I've achieved.

Been playing online for about a yr now and ive Made it to the final table maybe just once...never really found much time to dedicate till the very end of any tourneys but this year will be different.. good luck to every1, much respect towards any and all type of playing styles, reason y i love this sport..

I usually always make it to the final 2 or 3 tables in all the freerolls. Most of them pay top 20 anyway, in the very least. Personally, I would say I make around 5-6 final tables per month. I play maybe 2 freerolls at the most every day. I rarely take a day off haha. intertops has one 4 times per day, and BOL has a few every other day. Or when I really want to play one, I'll play pokerstars for play money. They have tournaments all day all the time. I play tight in the beginning and only play premium hands, and I always make the final 2 or 3 tables. I have tons and tons of screenshots to prove all my finishings. I've gotten really patient and really good with online poker. I need to build a bankroll so I can start to play cash online. I see that alot of sites have a bad beat jackpot. But anyway, the key to finishing and going the distance in a tournament is to survive and let other people beat themselves up and lose while you sit back and play premium hands. Then once you make the money, or tickets to other tournaments, then you can play a bit looser and widen your range. If anyone agrees with me or plays the same way give me a shout.

I play a very high volume of MTTs so I average around 7 final tables per month but it depends on how much i'm playing that month. The average field in the tournies I play is around 90 players so it's easier to reach the final table than with tournies that have 500+ entrants.

since joining CC, i have made 6 final tables in the last 6 weeks. Its definitely improved my game - really good players, interesting situations, difficult decisions and tough spots have improved my game enormously...

I do not make the final table much. I tend to bust out just before the money bubble. I don't think I have the knowledge or correct attitude to play well in the late-middle stages of tourneys.

I have made three final tables and won one in the past six months, all were point buy-ins on WPT. But I was playing much more than I am now.

Times per month is sort of a useless question. How about how many times in 10 tournaments or a 100 tournaments i.e. % of times played.

I am hanging between 5 and 10% in the ACR $10 free rolls which I play the most.

In the micro buy ins and third party free rolls the percentage a little higher but the sample is still too small.

It is nice to have something to compare too though so thanks for the thread and all the responses.
