Yes, I believe playing too many free rolls can have a bad effect on your game. Free rolls are basically a small step up from play money. Go to a casino and play a tournament with a $100+ buy-in. You will see a world of difference in the play. With decent money invested, players actually fear losing a hand. C-bets and bluffs have a much better chance of succeeding. Multi-way pots are pretty rare and many hands don't even get to the flop. There are still loose players, but I rarely see maniacs playing. THAT is real poker. I haven't played micro stakes, but I hear it's similar to free rolls. I'll pass on those and stick with the higher buy-ins where the play isn't as crazy.
