KANNE 1972, greetings to the round. So I'm pretty new here and I wonder how you feel when you play freerolls? I've preferred to play poker at pokerstars for over 10 years, I've already put a lot of money in the sand and have therefore been blocked from all deposit options, now I want to try to rebuild a certain bankroll with freerolls. But I have to say that this is not that easy anymore, unfortunately the offer is no longer as big as it was a few years ago and it is also not that easy to make money because freerolls do not play poker in that sense. It feels like there is no round in which there is no all-in and you fly out with a good hand against some donk that goes all-in with every hand. How are you doing with that? I would be happy if someone shares their impressions here in this cool forum.

Hello Kanne and welcome to Cardschat. You are right. In some freerolls it's quite impossible to see a flop . The more players in the field of a freeroll, the more all-in preflop you will see. Sometimes it has nothing to do with poker.
If you grind the levels in Cardschat you will get access to Silver (and maybe Platinum) freerolls where the field is not so big and the players are skilled. It's real poker.
You can find informations in the Cardschat freerolls threads.

Hi KANNE, and welcome to Carschat Community. Yeah it's still possible I am now at $40 playing only Freerolls tournaments.
I am also sharing this strategy on my Youtube Channel and live on TWITCH I made a video to explain how to go from 0 to $40 without making a deposit :D

Welcome to cardschat. One of the big negatives on free rolls is the all in donks ruining the game. While this is a much bigger problem early on later in the tournaments can be some real poker playing. You just need to get that far. Of course the pries are not the best either but if you want to build up you bank roll this is a good way to do that. Now if you join in the fun here at cardschat you will become elagable for some really nice free rolls.. While we have a few wild layers in them, overall you will find the compatition really strong in these game..

Such tournaments are not the best place for bluffing. Except when you are alone with an opponent, if you raised in the last round of betting. Play carefully, fold weak hands, raise your bets and try to "inflate" the pot in the presence of a strong hand. When the tournament gets tense, do not lose your temper and think through every action .

I think that in both freerolls and microlimits what you point to happens, it is more similar to playing lottery or bingo than poker but of course if you manage to win one of those crazy hands and double your stack or more you can take advantage of those crazy people who send all in with fringe or trash hands

It is very difficult for me to build a bankroll on freerolls. But there is one plus, you can be in the game without having money on your balance. There is always an opportunity to spend an evening playing poker

KANNE 1972, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but the writing program sometimes does what it wants, does anyone still have the same problem?

I started to play poker around 18 years ago and definitely was way much easier to build a bankroll from freerolls than nowadays. I remember you could easily win more then $500 per month only playing freerolls. Nowadays, it's very difficult. My advice is try to play freerolls in multiple rooms at the same time. Also, follow poker rooms twitter and instagram, because they are always offering promotions like raffles.

Yes, this is a problem. But you can still play. You need to get used to this and choose a freeroll series for your games.

in freerolls most players are very loose and go with any hand to play the pot, that's why many get into a hand and sometimes the good hands are the ones that lose the most, but that's how it is, a strategy should be taken to punish these types of players.

Hello.
With helping by Cardschat i can play enough freerolls. Thank it for this. Good luck if you are going to get high level here.
When i play freeroll tournaments i understand that i already can get some money without real buy in. I also was losing the game with higher hand. It was strange and unleasan every time. But i was remembering that it's just a freeroll and it's impossible to lose with higher cards every time.

Hello and welcome,

Freerolls will never be easy, you will find every play of each player that will make you frustrated and angry, but you must have a lot of patience and be constant, and you will see that you can build a good bankroll from freerolls, just don't get hooked on bad times in the freerolls

Hi KANNE 1972

I am predominantly playing freerolls too and find the exact same problem. The only tip I can really offer is to play super tight in the early stages and bet big with the premium hands, and hope for some luck, or at least for your opponent to not get lucky. online poker seems to favour the donk because it increases the rake, but good cards improve your odds. The only way to go deep is to take advantage of the all-ins and make a big stack. Not playing hands just for survival's sake will put you in bad shape for the middle stages and the bubble. The blinds and antes go up quickly and you may find yourself having to jam with mediocre hands, so you may as well have jammed earlier with better ones.

Hope this helps. I haven't been able to place yet, but one day I'll get a good run at it and won't be knocked out with AA or KK.

Every 2 pocket cards from 52 deck, even 7 and 2 have minimum 10% against premium opponent hand, it's not small on my opinion. Trash hands see the flop easily through the big blind. Then think for yourself how you can avoid them and any other situation with a trap in the hand.

Hello KANNE, you are wright, most of the freerolls are more like lottery than poker. But you can upgrade to platinum on Cardschat and you will have very good freerolls provided by cardschat. You will see that these freerolls are different. Ok, also here you will receive a bad beat, or the cards are not on your side but in general you can play your cards.

KANNE 1972, hello round. So I'm new here and I'm wondering how you feel when you play freerolls? Hi, I fully agree with you, at free tournaments, these guys turn poker into a casino, and you just don't want to play these tournaments. I've already tried the strategy of waiting for fans to wabank every hand just get out of the tournament, limited their move to AA or KK, but as the blades grow, your stack becomes scanty over time. Now I've come to terms with such tourists that the first part of the tournament is just a casino, if you manage to build a stack, you can continue playing, flew out with a good hand, and that's fine. I think I won't be able to do anything in this situation

Hello, I fully agree with you, in free tournaments, these guys turn poker into casinos, and you just don't want to play these tournaments. I've already tried the strategy, waiting for all-in fans to just drop out of the tournament every hand, I've limited my move to AA or QC, but as the blinds grow, your stack gets minuscule over time. Now I've noticed that in such tournaments, the first part of the tournament is just a casino, if you manage to build a stack, you can continue playing, you're out with a good hand, but oh well. What to do in this situation I think it won't work
