3betting LP vs Blinds

Hi,

I've been looking at some charts for responding to 3bets. If I RFI with K9s, Q9s, OR J9s, from the Hijack (Full Ring) and I've been 3bet by say the CO, Btn, or SB, the chart says I'm to call. Yet if I've been 3bet by the BB, it says fold. I'm obviously wrong, but to me that's completely counter-intuitive. I'd have thought calling the BB would be safer, as there's no chance of being squeezed/4bet. Would someone please explain why my thinking is wrong and the chart is right? Thanks.

Seems strange to me too... If you are heads up with the BB/SB it shouldn't matter.

Thank you. If it seems strange to you as well, it must be a mistake. No names no pack-drill, but they're from a reputable source. I'm going to assume me and you are right, and it's merely a mistake. Thanks for your response.
