Reads would help, but C-R on the turn looks so strong, I'd often just shove here. He's probably not folding a straight, but some river cards would freeze him up; same with lower flush.

But it's really all about reads. The more likely he is to do this on a real bluff and fire another barrel, the more likely I just call and set him up to shove the river. Against an unknown this is rarely a bluff or a hand that's folding for the odds he'll be getting, so a shove looks pretty good.

Call and let him fire at the river, just in case hes bluffing and betting the scare card.

Hes chip leader at the table so he mightve been bullying it around

Definitely just don't call, that would be horrible. Would be missing out on a ton of value. 1/2 pot to 2/3 pot raise, somewhere in between there would be fine, giving him the option to shove all-on over the top of you if he wants to play it out to the river.

With villian pulling a C/R one has to grant the possibility of either an Ax flush, or the 7T or QT.

Your big hope is that he is color blind and has dirty glasses and is just betting a str8.

I'd play this position carefully. A smaller win is still a win, a bigger loss is well, a bigger loss!

Yes, I agree with DJ, you have to aknowledge the possibility of Ax, since you have no reads.

Also I don't like the shove here because if he does have a straight he will likely fold, you might get a call only if he has the As unsuited. I would just call this and let him lead out again. If he goes all-in on a blank turn you're faced by a decision.

$10 tournament, 6 handed, only 2 players saw the flop, he'll be getting 2.5:1... he's rarely folding a straight or a set here.

Yeah maybe you're right, he'll call the shove with a straight.
