Hi guys.

I would appreciate it if a few of u guys had a look at this hand.

As you can see it was very early in a tourny. I always make the decision early in these games to push to build up a stack or go bust.

I knew what at least one of the callers if not both of them had after the flop, but I had a gut feeling I would miss all of my outs (I comment on this in the hand history)

Was this a bad call/ push?

You couldn't have conceivably thought that at least one of them hasn't got the wheel (or at the very very least hit some sort of low hand) so you know half of the pot has gone. You know you have no fold-equity, so you are betting 1,380 chips to win 700 profit, with a max of 16 outs. Do i need to go on?

1/2 of the pot being the low 1/2?

Yep, I agree

Well you didn't even have a low, and if you hit a low one of your opponents would almost certainly have a better one. You were getting 1/2 odds for a 4/5 (roughly) shot of hitting a high (with an outside but probably ignorable chance that you already were high).

unquote.

You were in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, and damn, you did!;)

The flop was the key to your demise. You knew it held peril, yet you made the conscious decision to throw caution to the wind, and reaped the just rewards.

Had the flop been uncoordinated or even half an hour later, your betting would have been fine, but you ignored your bad gut feeling. Half an hour into a PLO Hi.Lo the contestants have calmed down, and you would have known up front whether or not opponents held wheels. But then you know this right, and you're just posting for a spanking?:D

I'm not all that experienced with O8, but as soon as I got to the flop where there was a bet, raise, then reraise, I actually said to myself outloud "at least one person has 3,4". Basically you were drawing to win half the pot. I'd have folded.

i have to agree, after all that raising, you have to assume someone has the wheel. Also why didnt you raise the initial bet on the flop? i dont understand why you just flat called there, you never slow play in omaha on a board like that. It didnt matter this time since you were already beat, but you should have raised.
