OK, so you hit a flush on the turn. It looks more like girth is trying to protect a hand like KT AQ AK possibly 33 but doubt 1010...

There is no way you can fold here, if he has an A high flush then GG so be it.

I agree with gsx's analysis and would have raised all-in.

Once you decide to raise a hand like QJs from EP you can't fold when you hit.

Personally with your FD + OESD on the flop you really should be raising and looking to get your $$ in good against almost everything.

I would have went all in at the flop. This was the best odds you had of getting your money in good. You would have been a favored over most hands but a set.

There is no way you can fold this hand now.

Get it in you will see smaller flushes, sets and two pair hands more often then bigger flushes.
I whould probly just fold QJs preflop from UTG+1 this early in a tourney but imo you should be trying to get it in on the flop with OESD+FD and not calling the min bet.

At that point in the hand, you had to push. Obviously it wasn't the result you wanted, but I agree with WVHillbilly saying that if you decided to raise preflop with QJd you can't fold when you hit.

to be honest with you, from my observations of average play at a 2 dollar games, I would say you are good 95% of the time. The only way i see you feeling forced to fold is if the player that reraised was an extremely good player and you don't see that too much at the 2 dollar level. A good player would raise you with the nuts here just for value. But if he is a average or bad player. I would almost guarantee that he has a mini flush trying to keep high diamonds from drawing, so an all in move would be right knowing he won't fold because he is most likely a noob.

Couldn't have said it better. As played, on this flop I would be biting my lip trying to get every T$ I had in the middle then proceed with a monitor highfive. Raise the original bettor, then if Girth raised you just move in. Only sets are leading but not by much at all.

Since you left out the fact that this is a satellite, preflop this is a fold all the time. In satelittes we are trying to survive, and that means folding marginal hands in EP, especially in the early stages. Congrats on the finish though.

Backing up a bit in the hand here,.. I am definitely not just 'calling' a min bet on the flop. I'm going to start trying to build up a fairly big pot with a fairly big hand.
Personally I hate playing the micro buyins, especially on Stars... where preflop raises mean nothing and you get 4 to 5 seeing the flop. Very little 3-betting, alot of passive play, etc. I just don't like playing it so I'm probably not the one to even suggest how to play it ('fingers crossed' comes to mind, lol).
