Villain is 83/8 (lol) over 22 hands and has open shoved 4s. Also, seen villain call another opponents flop bet, checked behind on turn and then force him all in on river, just like here.

Yeah though it was a pretty obvious fold at the time too really. Just wondering if anyone though it'd ever be worth a call.

I think I'd be more embarrassed to have to show AK here than to bust. 77 wins?

definitely fold. there is just no point in risking it. plus, if you call and lose with ace high, you will just look bad.

ye pretty standard fold, the only hands we beat are q,t and t,8 and it seems weird for him to bluff shove the river with them but not raise the flop with them

I get your logic on making a hero call, but I don't think that this is the spot. The call on the flop leads me to believe he has something. He's not getting odds to call with a straight draw (although he could have done it anyway).

That is one mistake alot of people make they hit a hand like AK Suited or something and they wont fold it even thought they have ace high just cause they want to show off they got AK suited:eek:

Pushing in enough chips to make you all-in to me at least represents a bluff. Obviously it depends on how the player has played in the past - but I'm very tempted to just call it. I think he's stealing.

Dam so tempting to try to be the hero in that spot but he might be bluffin with the best hand so I would fold.

If he is that loose I could see him hitting a str8. Fold here and wait patiently. He will accommodate you and call with mid pairs and you an over pair.

This is what got me at the time, after he'd done it before. Anyway, like I said earlier, I folded. If I had the same decision later I'd have called, he tried the same move on someone on the turn with K7, guy called with Ax (can't remember now) and he sucked out with 7 on the river. But anyway, that's besides the point I said earlier I'd folded. It doesn't need a million people saying the same.

/thread imo
