Grinditout31 tried to defend this play by saying that that guy was a donk for calling his preflop raise with that "crap" hand. I laughed at him and told him that he called a 1400 bet with a flush and straight possible board with trips. then of course he called the 900+ all in with even more of a straight possibility.

Just out of curiosity, what are the odds of the board pairing up after the flop turning the set into a fullhouse?

i believe the chance to full house or quad up by the river is about 37% (although seeing all the hole cards, it was actually higher, probably about 40+%, since there were no other 3s or 4s to be found)

Thanks combuboom. I didn't have that on my chart because the outs increase with the extra card on the turn. So as far as the post goes grinditout31 didn't have the pot odds or assumed odds for the 1400 but did to call the 900.

If you have a pair in your hand, matching one on the board, you have seven outs on the turn, ten outs for the river - combined 2-1 against. If the board has paired matching one in your hand, you have 10 outs on both the turn and river, for a combined 3-2 against. (These includes the quads or full house).
