ok we have a home game and there is a guy that comes to play with us that is very loose in his game, doesnt care if he loses, and is luckier than a 2 di*k dog... im wondering what some others advice would be with playing against him... i know that skill will win over luck in the long run but i will have AA, hit an A on the flop and somehow he will get a straight or better with his 2 6 offsuit...lol.. its a little nerveracking but i know it happens

Play a solid Tight/Aggressive game against this kind of player.

1. Do not limp to him when he is the BB!

2. Do NOT slow play him!

3. NEVER try and bluff him.

We had a player like this in my home game also, He was the luckiest guy at the table, guess what, he hardly EVER wins anymore and I have taken plenty of chips from him!!!

Play tight, bet big when you are pretty sure you are ahead (play the odds) and keep inviting him back. Luck only lasts so long. Fight the tendency to loosen up and play his game.
