Late in the ferguson

I was at a table, late in the ferguson where it seemed like no one knew they were aloud to fold. Calling pot size bets with 3 overs to their pocket pair or with a gutshot, you get the picture. I want to know everyone's opinion on this hand.

Your standard 3x bb bet was ok for AJ. With KQ and 17k he's calling anyway. As soon as he doubled your $2500 continuation bet that was a sign that he had Q something. Tough decision because if you fold your extremely short stacked to rest of table and if you shove chances are your toast and need a miracle

i dont like being agressive when shortstacked in late tournament, unless i have a pocket pair or AK

no, you want to be aggressive as the short stack. that is the bennefit of being shortstacked. usually people will play a lot of tighter this late in a tournament. i guess you were just stuck at a table with beginners
