Should I have bet more here on the river? All in? I was a little scared due to the fact that my pp Q's have been getting beat up by pp K's recently. Was my flop call right?

I dont know why you're complaining you still won about 20000. Be happy with what you have. But yeah you shouldve bet maybe 1.5 times what you bet on the river.

Personally I would have raised it preflop myself to somewhere near 2,400. As it stood your call (brining the pot to 3,000) gave all of the limpers almost 4.5 to 1 odds to call. It was fortunate that they all folded anyway.

You asked if your flop call was OK. Yes I would have called also.

Because ...
1. You could be still in front. Villian could very well have the hand he is representing (a pair of kings with a good kicker), but he could also just be c-betting the flop with a lower pair than your Q's or even just 2 paint cards that missed the flop.

2. If villian does in fact have the king, the pot is still laying 4.3 to 1 odds to call (3900 - 900). He still also has over 10,000 in his stack. I would believe that if you hit your third Q you would be able to get most of that 10,000 into the pot by the river. This gives you wonderful implied odds.

Very nice pot sized bet on the turn.

I'm not sure what you were afraid of on the river. You held the 2nd nuts. I know you said you are afraid of your Q's running into K's, but i would have played the river assuming I had the absolute nuts. Sure he may very well had top set, but in poker you must put your oponent on ranges and here your hand looses to just one hand but crushes every other hand in villians range. hands like AA, AK, KQ, JJ, 99, 77 etc. So I would play it like the nuts. If he has the 2 Kings then so be it.

That being said I would have played the river to get as much money into the pot as possible. Coming to the river there was 14,400 in the pot and villian had 5365 left in his stack.

From villians point of view he checked and then called a large bet (+40% of his stack) on the turn, so he must like his hand somewhat. On the river the 9s fell. This card looks pretty much like a brick and if he was happy with his hand on the turn then he should be still happy with it on the river. I would therefor assume that he would call a big bet on the river. Had you gone all in on the river I can't think of a hand that he would have called on the turn with and folded on the river. He would of been calling 5,285 to win a pot of 23,620.

So yes I believe you should have pushed all in on the river.

As an aside, lets say villian pushed you all in after you bet 2,500 on the river, if you were almost certain that villian had KK in his hand would you still have called for your last 2,785. If you believed you were beaten on the river then you should have just checked behind and not bet at all, because there is no way you will push him off the one hand that beats you.
