I couldn't fold this. Maybe he has the flush, maybe he doesn't. Look at it from his perspective. Judging by your bet, he clearly doesn't think you flopped the flush, because he probably doesn't you think you'd have bet this much. Ac + pair of queens, or maybe just AcK, any AQ or overpair does this easily. If he flopped the flush, you've still got decent odds to make your full house. If he flopped a set of queens (which seems very possible), you are, how they say, le screwed. But ~ 9000 in the pot by my count, and 2930 more to call, seems that higher set of queens is the only thing that really kills you. If he flopped the flush, it looks like you even have odds to draw to the full house.

Very nice win. I didn't spot the post before seeing the results but I'd have called here, pot odds justify calling against a flush, Q's have you nailed but are unlikely.

Incidentally, I love your 2k bet - it looked very much like a bluff at the flush and I think you would have gotten called / raised by any hand hitting a piece of this flop, it also meant anybody chasing the flush is making a mistake to do so. I gotta start getting more aggressive with my sets.

but I would have eventually put him on Q2 and called him. The only time I would have put that down would be right on the bubble in a mtt but I am often told I have no ambition beyond the bubble!

He raises 3 BBs after 2 early position callers and we're putting him on Q2? Errrr...

made it deep, but busted when someone tried to steal with QJ and i caught them with AK but they hit and i didnt. soon after that i called a late position raise from the sb with AJ and hit top pair, called him down and he had AQ. left me with not much at all, ended up pushing the next hand with paint and busting.
