What a stupid play by that guy going all in, way to get value out of those aces. That is a good fold though but next time he'll show Qs and you'll be kicking yourself ;)

Thing was, when I limp raised, that all in was just about instant. Plus it was only hand 7 of the tourney and I didn't wanna go out that soon:p

my big question is why did you raise so small? you had 4 limpers and you raise $30 every single one of those player now have odds to call you with any hand you limp with. If the flop comes out something like JT or QJ or along those lines you are going to be in big trouble. Either way it is a great fold, I have only folded KK once before preflop and it was in a live game and yes the guy had AA.

Meh. His hand range is super small with this move in a $20 MTT. He's going to open raise with QQ, JJ, AK ... so unless he's mentally challenged what else is it but AA?

I wouldn't call it the lay down of the millennium. Rather, good job not going crazy in the first couple stages.

Also, this is from 2006. The forum is more about discussing hands and getting advice than bragging about 2 year old lay downs ;)

Why did I raise so small? On the off chance the guy did have AA which he did, I woulda been in sad shape had i raised like half my stack, woulda been pot committed. Plus I was trying to trap them if I didnt think anyone HAD aa

and yes the hand is 2 years old but I think to this day it made me a better poker player.

I mean the raise after 4 limpers is to small because with the Kings you would not see a flop with an A in a multiwaypot.

The laydown was very good congratulation
