good play by the button in my opinion. he obviously put you on a steal preflop and hit a great flop. i assume you were probably trying to represent a big pair like Aces or Kings but with a flop like that i doubt the button is going to fold. in that sense, unlucky for you but you should never have been in that position in the first place

I agree with jyow but also I think that any play there would of been dangerous as I have recently seen more and more players trying to limp in with monsters like AK to try and trapa you when you attempt a steal ... not sure why but has happened to em numorous times in the last few weeks

I'm just trying to figure out your motivation here. Why are you raising with that hand in the cut-off? I'm assuming that you are trying to steal the blinds (fair enough, I suppose, based on your reads), but min. raising there is v. v. bad. You're not getting button to fold there with a min. raise (and now, who knows what his range could be), and now SB and BB have the odds to make the call with pretty much any two cards.

Now, your out of position (maybe you were trying for a button steal?), and in trouble. Not sure why you were willing to put it all on the line for a draw.

Also, next time you post a hand for analysis, make sure to leave out the results.
