That was the turn shove not river and no, not good.

You're losing value when you just shove the turn, the boards quite dry really what are you scared of exactly? Also; if you are scared, it makes no sense to shove does it? He's only calling with hands he beats you with. Also; I don't believe at any point you intend on folding AA, so why would you try and make him fold worse at any point?

Anyway; you don't really need to bet the flop that big. 400 will do; try to induce some raise from worse. The shove on the turn is just really bad for reasons I've already stated. He's still got 14bb behind and the boards not even dangerous; the King is going to scare him more than you and you want to possibly keep in Jx and if he has Kx/ middle pairs so I'd bet like 50% maximum and call his shove if he does, if not, you have a nice river shove which will price in pretty much most of his flop/turn calling range with like 4/1 odds. Also; lets be honest; we have no intention of folding AA on this board, so our plan is to get him to stack at some point, there will be times he turns over two pairs/sets...but they don't outweigh the times he calls worse so our objective is purely to build a pot and get him to stack of at any point. We don't achieve this by betting so big in general and hoping he folds.

The reason why it wasn't such a good shove was the fact that it wasn't such a draw heavy board kj86 rainbow means the only thing he could hit on the turn was broadway or two pair, but if that happens you just have to know you were destined to lose. But the correct play was to wait til river.

You can be make bigger bet pre flop, like 250~300 is good. Its give to you a chance bet strong on the streets(flop, turn, river). Your intencion is not folding AA, but go all-in until river.
