Yes both these calls are totally fine and standard. 77 is sometimes a raise-fold hand, but not when the opponent only has 10,8BB to start the hand. You were getting better than 2:1, meaning you needed less than 33% equity to make a profitable call. Of course you dont have that against 88+, but his range is not only made up of big pocket pairs. A decend amount of the time you will be slightly ahead of two overcards, and sometimes even a big favourite against a lower pair or a hand like A5s.

Yes, both easy calls here.

With the 77, if MP2 or the SB shove, then we can certainly consider folding.

As I side note, I would not recommend raising to 3bb when the effective stack is only 32.8bb. I would recommend something more like 2.2-2.5bb.

I go with what others have said and the calls are fine. I want to point something out though about the 2nd hand. You have 3 jam stacks behind you. Therefore, if you are going to raise here (especially to 3x) then you should know before you raise that you are calling anyone of those jams. It should not be a decision once you raise. The decision should come on whether to raise or not. 77 is fine to do what you did but make sure in the future not to trap yourself here and raise with a hand that you are not willing to call a 11 BB shove from.

Thats a Very important aspect people forget about.

SPR sums it up in some ways

and the 77 for me is a fold or jam
no call

Definitely call in both spots! In hand 1, they show up with smaller pairs a healthy amount of the time. In hand 2 you're getting very good odds against their likely range of holdings.

BTN and BB are so short, that we are never going to raise-fold against them. Against an 11BB shove we should have some raise-folds though, especially if we went for a smaller open than this 3BB, which is to big given the stack sizes behind. The hands, we might raise-fold against CO are offsuit rag aces, the worst offsuit broadways and the worst suited kings in our range like K8s or K5s. Those hands are perfectly fine to open as the chip leader ("chip bully") because of blockers, but they dont have enough equity to call off an 11BB jam.
