Kinda early to worry about going all in on him..give it up....I would give him the benefit of the doubt having a jack...unless you know he's been stealing....even then....with your stack just playing a conservative game in a double or nothing you shoul dmake it...the good news about these tourneys is that you don't have to win you have to have chips when someone goes out 6th....:)

humm, this is a slightly interesting post. Let's ignore the donkarific aspect of these donkfests, and actually look at the hand.

Level 3, 25/50 with a 5 ante, smells of a turbo, but ok.

Seems your MP with [Ah 9h], and you limp, with already 1 limper. Probably what the tbl does. Sure, folds to the SB, who completes, and the BB checks(who is villain). Think this makes the pot 240 with antes and limps.

Flop [7s Jh 9d]

Humm, not a great flop, not a disaster. Villain leads out for 50. Not much you can make outta that bet. Seems like a std donk bet, blocking?, trapping?, bluffing?, who knows. Methinks this bet actually provides some info, what, not sure, but let's give villain the doubt, and that means, I have something???? Makes it cheap for the rest of the pack to come along...

You call, floating the card is OK, and the check/call SB calls.

Turn [4h]

This is where this gets slightly interesting... Pot would now be 390.

Ok, what's u got? middle pr with backdoor fldr. What does everyone else have? Actually, you should think this before calling the min flop bet, but let's think now.

What card are you looking for on the turn? Really, what is the best card for you? A 9?, an A, a heart? What?

The flop is str heavy, and the turn brings the fl draw. 8T, has the made str, and any 2 hearts will probably flushy here. What do you beat? U basically drawing to the nut fl, trips, or a better 2pr.

SB checks, BB(villain) pushes? 1420 into a 390 pot? wtf? bluff, maybe, made hand semi-bluff overbet, maybe? Has villain done this before? Why would they do that?

OK, should u call? NO, why:

There is still another similar stack left to act, so you kinda squeezed here. But you need to call 1/2 your stack to win 1.5 with basically a fl dr. The SB calling would help your odds here, but, you can't count on that. Just not getting the proper odds here.

You played the hand weak, saw a cheap flop, saw a cheap turn, and folded to aggression.

pok35 analyzied the hand very well and broke it down great
I think it is easy fold with just middle pair and hoping to hit your draw. You are pretty well guarranteed the money if you just play smart from where you are at. No sense putting that at risk.

It was explained well, I just don't think it needed explained...LOL

If you fold and play tight poker you're going to make the top 5.....if you call and the guy has a jack and you don't improve you're close to being the bubble boy....

this is a definite fold. You don't need to win these and you are in a perfect position to make the money.

sit tight, and only play the most premium of hands. Seriously i have cashed in this playing 8% of my hands. QQ and AQ were the only hands i saw the flop with

its a donkament, so you have to fold, because that other player can have anything. No point of risking your stack with A9 and middle pair in that phase.

At the money mark in these the average will be 3000 chips needed. You are close and need to look for one more hand, but this isn't it!

you played this hand right... A9 suited your lookin for basically a flush or something sick like two pair or trips. A9 os you fold in this position.. anyways..

limp PF here is the right play. get in cheap. you have one 9 now. this isnt good enough in a pot like this. but you have one heart.

your looking for a cheap way to a A or 9 or maybe another heart. if its a 100 bet then you fold but its 50 so you call.

another heart. this is good. pots at almost 400. your looking to spend 200 MAX (400 + 200 + 200 = 800:200 = 4:1) to see if you make trips, two pair, or flush. 1420 ??????????? thats 7x more than you wanted for a DRAW. insta fold. and laugh at him for not making a value bet to extract more chips from you. if you miss the river
