Costly Mistake.

This is an example of what happens when you're a bit distracted.

Was playing a rebuy tourney, past the first break and was sitting with around 7600 in chips and up to that point i was playing well. Then a !@!%#^!# typo !!!

Meant to do a 440 bet but by mistake wrote down another %#!@ 0, so i made a damn 4400 raise preflop with blinds at 80/160 ... then i was praying for everyone to fold. That's when someone raised to put me all-in. I would have been left with over 3000. Thought about it for a bit but decided to call. Didn't put him on AA or KK so ti thought i wouldnt be that far behind.

I know i could've stayed in the game with 3200 chips, so i guess it was a pretty bad call there...

personally i have never done this, however, you're right. you should have just folded, kept your mouth shut in the chat box(because i'm sure someone would have said something to you) and tried to build it back up. at least that's what i would have done.

If you rule out AA and KK, against a ragid ace your practically flipping and against any pair below queens aswell.
So the call is not that bad, by the misstype you have to pay 3245 to win almost 15000. thats good enough of an odds for a situation in which your most likely flipping. (too bad he turns over the one hand you dont want to see.)

Tough a fold would have been a good decision aswell because your left with a little over 20 big blinds and just wait for a good spot to play a pot.
