I was confident my hand was better than his, but I'm not sure if I went about sucking money out of him the best way. Are there any better ways of getting it in here?

seems fine, you have enough equity here vs a $1 player to try and get it in postflop..

If we really are 100% sure that we have the best hand (which I'm sure if we do), we should just shove, villain clearly isn't going anywhere, so he'll probably pay off our bet.

Why shove? He would be more inclined to fold that way

Because if he's really such a drooler that he's raising with a worse hand than yours, then he's not folding to a shove.

I don't nessairly agree with this; I think if I shoved I would drive a few hands out of his range that he might overwise call

But shoving preflop might also get your opp to fold hands that have you beat.

put your glasses on ;)

anytime you have a chance to give a bad player some rope to hang himself, do it.

I suppose raising all-in would give him a chance to get away from the hand, whereas a normal 3-bet makes it harder to get away, given the pot odds. But I just don't see how, given his line and the stakes, that he's folding any part of his range that he was willing to raise with other than bluffs.

Yeah, that is very true; the only thing I can see him folding is a weak K, pockets, 57 or two hearts. So, I guess the question is; do I want the those cards to maybe call and suck out on the turn. or do I prefer them to fold? If I want them to call I should just reraise and pot commit them/push turn; if I don't push when he reraised. I'm not good with this odd stuff, which move is more+EV

I play live poker a fair bit and some of my opponents know what they are doing and actually think a bit; how should I alter my play here against these kind of opponents? Can I ever really fold the KJ? Maybe when he reraised go into check-down mode?
