Bubble time sngo....The player i raised with middle pair has been raising every hand preflop, so thats why i raised with middle pair...I had no fear of an ace (the thought crossed my mind she could of limped rockets, if so cingrats, i'll lose that way) Now I had a strong feeling she was drawing to a flush and couldn't get her away from it. Knowing this before I bet, could it make sense to fold immediatly to her semi bluff for fear of being outdrawn.....or did I just get absolutely fished and I should make this bet every time?

That might be a bad example....just the most recent flush beat, I have more. I know I played correctly here.

I read your other post. Probably a bad example, since you were never going to push her off of that combo draw.

If you feel very confident with your read then the raise is fine. I won't argue with your raise amount because of your chipstack. However I would probably push or fold. The smooth call by her definately sets off the draw alarm and I don't mind the turn push.

I'm going to say the mini-raise on the flop was horrible. Either call and push the turn if a spade doesn't come or fold. Reraising here even shoving won't work with 2 cards to come if villan is on a draw.

Your read is that you don't think villan has an ace but is on the flush draw. Ok, I'll accept that. If that's the case, villan had the odds to call your mini-raise on the flop and then you didn't have enough left on the turn to bet her off the one card draw.

If you call the flop and push the turn your turn bet will be over 1000 into an 800 pot so villan would have incorrect odds to call with just a flush draw although in this case villan had the strightflush draw so would have probably called anyway.

The point is to make your opponent make a mistake. You didn't here.
