Did I play it right ? there is nothing to brag about. I lost half of my stack anyway haha. I just felt that I need the pot so much and he ended up putting me all in so I called. The thing is should I have bet the pot or less ?

It depends on the player. If he folds often to 3-bet, then its ok.

Anyway I also like this tournament, maybe we will meet there...I hope at the final table. :p

No reads on villain cause you dont have pokertracker or holdem manager isnt really great tbh. (guess a tracker would really help you to solve this kind of spots more optimal) not saying you played this hand good or bad

Start using a trial or something :)

trackers are not useful in tournaments due to the stacks changing all the time. I wouldn't get surprised if you saw an pverpair to yours

I can usually read the type of hand the villain has without a pokertracker. The problem comes when I like my hands too much (and that happens quite a lot).

Yeah. I like it as well. The skill level tho is not what I expect from a 11$ buy-in tourney :D I always manage to build 15k stack easily but then I choke and the lack of good hands really kills me :(

Bet-sizing is pretty terrible pre & postflop.

With a '30bb' stack, what's your intentions/plan when you 3-bet pre vs. an eMP raiser?

Hate the postflop betsize of 'POT' too. I mean what's your plan here again?
is it to look weak & hope for a spazz? or more like a 'pleazzzz fold' size of bet, & then perhaps w/o a plan choosing to call it off in hopes/praying we're ahead (how often are we?).

and this ^ is from a guy who jams 30bb's (vs. EP 25-30bb stacks) in blinds w ATo & expects to have FE &/or getting it in good... & if even he thinks you might be looking at an overpr. you are probably in trouble...

I would have just called pre-flop unless you thought the sevens were a hand worth taking to showdown, then all-in would work.

As it was you gave him the pot odds to call against your relatively deep stack pre-flop with his weak king suited, and had a fortunate outcome.

He also played the hand terrible by re-raising all-in with his flopped 6s, committing you to stay in the hand regardless.

I think 3B pre is fine if you're intending on calling a 4B shove although you say you have no reads or stats on players so I think flatting would be best given he's raising in early and 4B shoves you can never be in to great of a shape. Your 3B size is to big pre flop to.

The flop pot size bet is really, really bad though and the biggest mistake of the hand. You don't need to bet any more than 40-50% on the flop.

I think you played the hand perfect, and even more if you know this player for his abviously loose style after this flop all in is just perfect.

I like it cause the donk bet usually means he isnt at the top of his range...however I dont like taking this line without some type of edge...it just sucks that you were completely guessing and thats never a good spot to be in
