You are both High Stacked. Interesting hand in a S&G. I assume 3 get paid. Some of my decision would depend on how I saw the guy double up ( assuming thats what he did )

That said, without knowing this....

I think its all in and hope to beat his FD / SD / Overpair. If he has 88 or 9 with higher kicker then so be it, you can still make the money.

He should Fold if on any of those 3 hands, but may call if a new/poor player....

Play agressive shrug it off if you lose.

Right...I might add this was an 18 person Sng, so at the point this happened it was down to 11 or 10. Top 4 get paid.

Anyone else??

Definitely reraise, we can't let him see a cheap turn. Minraise could mean anything, so let's pop it up to 1500 and see what he does.

Agree with Chuck, need to reraise here at the very least, wouldn't be surprised he has A8. You're OOP here, better raise now and then evaluate after, if he calls. Raise has to be enough to give him bad odds if he's drawing.

*** RIVER *** [9h 8d 9d Jh] [Qh]
MrBove bets 970
butters1906 calls 970, and is all in
*** SHOW DOWN ***
MrBove shows [5s 9s] (three of a kind, Nines)
butters1906 shows [9c Jc] (a full house, Nines full of Jacks)
butters1906 wins the pot (6,290) with a full house, Nines full of Jacks

ugh in retrospect you guys are so right, I should have re-raised right there on the flop...I'm assuming he would have gone over the top then maybe I would have convinced myself to give it up. I figured he was on a flush draw and that was a terrible bet by me on the river. Gotta work on that disipline.

You should see some pocket pair/8x/draw/smaller 9 more than a bigger 9/88 here, so don't be turned off by those results :)
