Do you think I should've pushed on the flop or am I being result oriented?
Seems to me donk is calling either way.

I was just thinking I didn't leave myself enough on the turn so it may have been better to just push the flop. What can I really expect though in a $1 donkament. Oh well, probably saved me 3 hours of my life

- Is any turn card going to make you fold?

- Is villain really much less likely to call the 450 bet than a shove (assume we don't know his hand)?

That's just bad luck and also maybe raise bigger preflop. Raising preflop around 8-10 times the big blind will make people who actually have call you.

It is a $1 tourney which is a sign of donks. You had the best hand but just got donked on. Unlucky mate.

Don't raise more pre-flop or on the flop, because then everyone will fold, which is obviously not what you want. If people call your raise with rags, that's good.

What he said. You want some action. You just got unlucky. Played fine I think.

I see nothing wrong with the hand. Well played. The villain was still getting bad odds to call with a draw on the turn with the size of the all in bet. Villain was 4.5 to 1 dog getting only 3 to 1 pot odds.

as poker players we care about making good and bad decisions. assuming you knew he was on a flush draw you want the call on the turn I think. At best he has nine outs which is about 15 percent to hit a club. You are going to win more times then not. Good decision in my opinion. by the way what is LAG?

Can't see where you messed this up, you got everything you wanted except final result which you can't control anyway.

I hate getting great cards early in any tourney. AA just scares the heeby jeebies right out of me first hand. I still haven't layed it down, but it has not been any better than a coinflip in the first orbit.

But, what can you do. Shove up front, maybe it folds.......
