$6.25 NL HE HU Tourney Turbo: 33 Vs. Tilty Shove

I had essentially just flopped the nuts a few hands before this and villain made his hand on the river, where we got it in. I see that he's just going to start shoving ATC, so is this a call, or do we wait and get it in better? Take note of the stack sizes and blinds.

HAND #1

33 is barely a 50% hand against any random hand and against top 50% it is just below 50%. If I think my skill level is better than opponent then I fold this and grind him down when I control the action. If you think his skill level is a lot higher then yes take the flip here.

Pretty sure this is a fold. We're never ahead, we're not getting particularly good odds, and he isn't short enough to be shoving super-light (and if he is we can wait for a better spot as he's doing so incorrectly).

def. fold its 5050 at best and with the blinds at 30 u could go from a big chip lead to even, never call in this situation at those blinds wait for a much bigger hand cause with blinds so small hes not making much of a comeback pushing all in every hand

You should call: because you are most of the time a slight favorite against 2 unpaired big cards and you have 2:1 advance in chips so you can push him out, and even if you loose you came back to 1:1 which is not handicaping.

Its a 55/45 with the exception that if you win he's out and if you lose it's back to even. I guess it comes down more to what type of player you are, the more conservative player would prob fold, maintain the chip lead and look for the better spot but I would prob call this. We are ahead against any unpaired.

we are not ahead of unpaired hands, we are flipping and factor in paired hands and this is definately a -EV situation.
plus, blinds are 15/30 and it is just too early to flip with this hand

It's one of those hands where calling or folding could both be correct. Like I said it depends on what type of player you are. If you want to be a bigger favourite before you get your money in then you fold.

In this situation I call this if I am the bigger stack and I also call it as the smaller stack. If we are closer to even stack then I fold. Its heads-up and the blinds are actually irrelevant other than giving you the option that if you are more conservative you have time to wait for a better spot. My point is that this hand is not win/lose, its win/back to even. That puts itin favour of a call for me. My calling range is top 40% here.

but i really dont think calling is correct. at best we are up against a hand like J5o and even then we are flipping, i just dont think we are ahead enuff to call
