i reraise here to see if he has top pair with something like a8.

looks like youre probably pretty far behind by now, though. only thing you're still ahead of is 99 or A7

call, minbet the river and giggle as he minraises, obviously.

seriously, i like 3-betting the flop here and just giving up if called (aside from maybe a small blocking bet on the river if turn gets checked around). i probably fold pf, too.

I'd reraise on flop, perhaps 1000 or 1200. I he raises again, then it's a though decision...

Don't know what to tell you, i don't usually play a kind of crap hand like 8 6 off suit so i don't really know. Unless i have a chit ton of chips & the blinds are small, i won't play those kinds of hands. So i would've folded my SB for 30. I have to say though i probably would've went all in after the 1st reraise w/ the 2 pr.

What are you talking about??? I am second in the chip lead w/ 6500 and its 30 more to call. You don't think that's small enough in terms of ratio?

Well I thought about this a bit and decided to lay it down even though I was probably getting good odds. He turned over his straight 4h7s.

i did'nt see this post in time! but it was a good lay down! commiting more would have brought him to go all in! but if the bets were low enough for me in that position i'd limp to see all the cards for possible boat,

I would reraise anywhere from 1000-2000.
