Now I was playing on the same table with villian for a fairly long time and I seen him chase straights and flushes quite a lot and I was pretty sure that was chasing a flush here. He was playing lots of suited connectors.
The problem for me with this type of hand is that im not really sure whether I bet enough to prevent players from calling with draws, and should I fold the river here? I was sure he was chasing the heart but I made the call anyway even though I thought it was a bad decision given the read I had. Would you have played this hand differently?

This is a big leak in my game, if I think someone is chasing a flush I tend to bet less than I should as I fear them hitting and losing a lot of chips. By doing this I think I make it easier (and obviously cheaper) for my opponent to make the call and see another card. Its something I need to work on.

over the long run your going to profit more by betting more on streets where u think your opponent is drawing because your hand is going to hold up more often than not

bet a bigger amount of chips, so you don´t get him the pot odds to call the bet.

pretty much as said already. Bet bigger. And we can never fold that river as played.

also, whats your plan on a blank river?

how about an ace or jack?

what about when it comes clubs and villian leads into you?
