Ok, now I wanted to call this all-in from the CO as he was shoving with ATC and I though that SB wasnt all that confident about his hand as he just called the all in from the CO.
Its still early in the tournament so should I wait for a better spot as I knew that this pot would be 3 way as there is no way the SB is folding to my all-in. The only read I had was that the CO was going in with ATC from the word go. Would a fold here be a better play?

I'm folding this. CO is likely to be shoving with a wide range and there is a decent chance that your A7 has CO beat but what makes this a clear fold was the SB flatting. If you shove, he's going to have great odds to call with any pretty cards and him being the CL makes it even easier. We're still early in the stages of a SNG and there is no point spewying chips and our equity especially with a hand like A7. The only hands that I would be willing to shove in your position is AK and QQ+. We may open or tighten that range depending on the SB's stats which we're missing.

What if the SB didn't flat, do we call? Even if the CO is shoving wide here, I'm still folding the A7 to a 16BB shove. I'm not risking 44% of my stack and a good chunk of tournament equity this early on. A7 vs a random is only a 60% favorite to win.

Thanks for the respose. I understand what you are saying, I thought it was a bad decision after I did it.

If the blind levels were higher would you shove here? Lets say the blinds are 100/50 and the stack sizes or the same. Or would it still be too early to make this sort of move, if so how big would the blinds need to be to shove with this kind of hand?

If the blinds were 50/100 and CO shoved and SB folded, I would insta-call given on your read that he's almost shoving ATC. Even without reads, calling with A7 is still fine. If the SB called, then I would still fold because again we have barely any fold equity with our marginal hand.

Thanks for your help I will try to avoid doing this in future. Here is the result of the hand, I got lucky this time-

No problem. Don't get short-term result oriented. Focus on making correct decision so you'll be a long term winning player. Good luck.

pretty easy fold imo, it's not usually a good idea to take a marginal hand into a multi-way pot with no fold equity.

I'd need AK TT+ here to shove. And I'd think about folding TT as well as AK here too. But with all the money and your read of villian1 I'd likely get it in. And the flat call by villian2 is something to take note of. This is very general read that by flatting they got a good but not a great made hand. Some regs will flat monsters so those guys are really the ones you need to note(as your likely to see them again).
