$2.20 NL HE Turbo: $ : $ : Limped with JQs M=10 MP1 short stack table; too loose?

poker stars $2.00+$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t150/t300 Blinds + t25 - 9 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (MP1): t6630 M = 9.82
MP2: t1820 M = 2.70
CO: t2035 M = 3.01
BTN: t3875 M = 5.74
SB: t9075 M = 13.44
BB: t1865 M = 2.76
UTG: t2045 M = 3.03
UTG+1: t6970 M = 10.33
UTG+2: t8041 M = 11.91

Pre Flop: (t675) Hero is MP1 with J Q
2 folds, UTG+2 calls t300, Hero calls t300, 4 folds, BB raises to t1840 all in, 2 folds

Was this too loose of a call? I had a very aggressive table image so pushing was not an option as they would have been prepared to call me with K high

Hope a decent MTT player can correct me here if im wrong, but i think your too short to be limping behind with implied odds type hands... if were like 30bb's deep id like it better.

Yeah, I think so too; after I done it I thought it was a bad play but just wanted some second opinions; could have I ever called a small push in that situation?
