Hero (BB): t1770 M = 11.80
UTG: t4000 M = 26.67
UTG+1: t1415 M = 9.43
MP1: t3980 M = 26.53
MP2: t3745 M = 24.97
CO: t955 M = 6.37
BTN: t1385 M = 9.23
SB: t660 M = 4.40

Pre Flop: (t150) Hero is BB with K:club: Q:club:
2 folds, MP1 calls t100, MP2 calls t100, 3 folds, Hero checks

Flop: (t350) T:spade: 8:diamond: 6:club: (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t100, MP2 folds, Hero calls t100

Turn: (t550) Q:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t200, Hero raises to t600, MP1 calls t400

River: (t1750) J:club: (2 players)

Should have I simply folded on the flop? I called thinking that I he made it so cheap I had the right odds to call here. I folded the river because it seems whenever an opponents draw hits they tend to raise hugely

Should have I simply folded on the flop?Yes.I called thinking that I he made it so cheap I had the right odds to call here.Look at your stack size I folded the river because it seems whenever an opponents draw hits they tend to raise hugelyOnce you raise the river nearly half your stack is the middle, you need to have thought ahead, "ok once i raise this turn, im priced in to call a shove on river etc. etc.

So this hand is played so weirdly to me, and im baffled that you folded the river. When you call the flop, what were you expecting to hit? you hit your queen, raise half your stack off on turn and fold to a river shove?

Hmm, yes I see, I really should have paid more attention to my stake. Great response btw. Hmm, I'm thinking now perhaps I should have pushed there preflop?

depends on reads, will they limp/fold often? will they fold Ax type hands often? im fine with checking here, still a bit to deep to be shoving, though, it can't be too bad.

Curious- what would his stack size have to be to make the flop call okay? >20 BB's?

It's not just my stack size, it's my opponents too since they are prone to shove, and JQs plays badly against a pushing range
