$12 NLHE MTT: ICM question: Is A10o a call here?

Off topic now, but having been here a few months now this is one of the least toxic forums I've ever paid attention to and most are really friendly. Makes a nice change

To offer a personal insight, as someone who likes to chime in but could also improve his game and expand his knowledge and experience considerably, the opportunity to analyze hands and throw my thoughts into the mix as part of a group is really helpful to my understanding of the game, and making sure I am on the right path. It improves my own game if I can take some lessons away, but also improves my ability to critically analyze poker hands, which is going to have a long term pay off for me and hopefully the community too (referring the points made by Scourrge) as eventually the quality of my analysis should improve.

I don't get why you feel offended. Nits are nits, how else you would call them? If you are nit, you should accept it as a reality and be proud of your true self. I'm not judging you or other nits, but even if other people judge nits, it shouldn't have a dent in your heroic nittyness.

You can call me whatever you want, I'm not LAC graduate to lose sleep over these kind of things.

Maybe refer to them as 'tight' players? If you are looking for good responses, maybe choose different words.... in my opinion.

Maybe you guys even get some reads out of BTN's openshove instead of raise/fold or call?

his vpip is the second tightest and his pfr is low also prolly has a10+ any pocket pair . If you feel he is bullying in this spot due to information last few hands played or if u believe he is full of air we can open his range to j8s+. but otherwise he might just have u dominated

Ok. i think this is a Call. And I tend to believe that the hud is not being used to the best of its abilities here is VPIP is a total of money going in. But you have to ask yourself whats is BUTTON Shoving range here. if this guy on the BTN is anywhere near a thinking player he's gonna know you have a to have a tighter range here and he's gonna open up his shoving range. Even at a $12 Ft when you see stats like his it on purpose and he's not just randomly playing hands. But ATo is a call and i think A9ss+ 44+ plus is a call here. while busting 6th sucks. A change to double up and have 35bbs and top 3 this is worth it. gl sir

its easy call but if you have some notes icm and etc you can fold and take better advantage next time.

I used all infos on opponent...his range a little bit wider.i put him ~17% of range.
