Uh... checks? What exactly do you expect him to call with that didn't get there on the turn? Even if he's a "special player", his range probably does pretty well against JT on this board, and calling a bet with A9 here is even kinda a stretch for this guy.

River kinda plays itself IMO, except for maybe a jack or ten.

If I'm on a draw and it's been checked to me when I have position AND if I'm in a hand with a HUGE calling station, I'm more apt to just check behind instead of leading out w a semi-bluff cbet. odds are he's calling me when I hit it anyways.
Here's I'm checking behind on the turn (and wishing I'd done so on the flop as well).
A hand like this I think we can typically be looking at 55-TT.
